These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of FocusOS, a macOS application provided by Panze ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using FocusOS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1The app & your license

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use FocusOS on Mac computers that you own or control, for your own productivity. We may offer free and paid features; the scope of your license depends on the plan you hold.

2Acceptable use

You agree not to: copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law; circumvent licensing or security mechanisms; or use the app to break any applicable law. You are responsible for your own conduct and for keeping your device and account credentials secure.

3Accounts

Some features require an account, created by signing in with Google, Apple, or email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

4Intellectual property

FocusOS, including its software, design, logos, and content, is owned by Panze and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the app — they do not transfer any ownership to you. The "FocusOS" and "Panze" names and marks may not be used without our prior written permission.

5Updates & changes to the app

FocusOS may check for and install updates automatically to improve performance, security, and features. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may discontinue the app or any part of it. Where reasonable, we will aim to give notice of significant changes.

6Third-party services & links

The app and this website may reference third-party services (such as Google, Apple, GitHub, or Discord) and link to external sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

7Disclaimer of warranties

FocusOS is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every expectation. Focus, break, and activity features are productivity aids and are not a substitute for professional, medical, or health advice.

8Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Panze and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or productivity, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) FocusOS. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9Termination

You may stop using FocusOS at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the app in a way that could cause harm. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

10Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Panze's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory local law provides otherwise.

11Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of FocusOS after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
